He has a background in management consulting, initially at London based Urwick, Orr and Partners and subsequently as the Director of Human Resources Consulting in the international accounting firm, Arthur Young.

Daud Vicary has 16+ years in Management Consulting to the Financial Services Industry (1998 - 2005), preceded by 15 years working for Banks in Operations and control (1973 - 1988). Returned to Banking between 2005 - 2008 in leadership positions in Islamic Banking in Malaysia. Established an Islamic Finance Consultancy (DVA Consulting Sdn Bhd) in November 2008.
Have operated in over 30 countries, and have spent the last 15 years based in Asia. In the last 7 years have focused on Islamic Finance operations.
A frequent commentator and speaker on Islamic Finance, David was appointed to the Board of AAOIFI (Accounting and Auditing Organisation for Islamic Financial Institutions) in December 2003 - 2007, and was installed as a Distinguished Fellow of the Islamic Finance and Banking Institute of Malaysia (IBFIM) in July 2007. Appointed a Member of ACIFP (Association of Chartered Islamic Finance Professionals in November 2008.

Michael Preiss served as the Chief Investment Officer for EmiratesNBD, and previously as the Associate Director, Investment Advisory Group at HSBC Private Bank, serving clients in the Middle East and South Asia. He now runs the Investment Advisory function for Standard Chartered Private Bank.
Currently running index-linked funds for the Asian and African Capital Markets, Michael is also an advisor on Wealth Management and Private Banking curriculum for the Middle-East and Asia with the International Academy of Financial Management (AAFM). He leads the Capital Markets Curriculum Committee.

Geoff has experience in managing multi-country teams of marketing personnel, with marketing budgets in excess of US$20m across more than 50 markets simultaneously. Geoff is heavily involved in local business activities as a board member of the British Business Forum, along with a role as Chapter President of the International Academy of Financial Management's Middle-East membership. He regularly teaches the leading finance brands throughout the Gulf region on specialist branding, marketing and customer service topics for the banking and finance sector.
He sits on the academic advisory boards of a number of Australian Colleges and is a member of the Educational Committee of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants (ICMA). In addition he is responsible for the quality control of all ICMA and IAFM Corporate Finance related courses run in Asia.
