Association of Certified Procurement & Operations Professionals™

The Association of Certified Procurement & Operations Professionals™ is a worldwide Professional Management organization with members in many countries hosting and organizing certification training worldwide and offering our exclusive board certification designations to candidates who meet the high standards in the field of Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management and Operations. The ACPOP and its parent organization the International Academy of Business and Financial Management (IABFM – www.iabfm.org) are members of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

The ACPOP consist of thousands of CIPP and CBOP holders that have been certified by IABFM since 2003. The association is also open for membership to all APICS (US), IACCM (US) and CIPS (UK) designated professionals world wide, as well as holders of graduate degrees in Supply Chain and Business Operations.

Training/Programs

Warehouse and Logistics Program

The purpose of this course is to show how to implement all of the essential tools to enable better and more effective, utilisation of warehousing and planning to your logistics supply chain operation. This five-day course will additionally provide the practical skills and information that can be taken back to the workplace so that internal problems that limit performance can then be more effectively planned, organised and controlled and then deliver reduced costs and improvements in services procurement.

Financial Modeling for Bids and Tenders

This intensive, interactive and comprehensive programme will provide business professionals with the tools to build, operate, and review fi- nancial models for priced tender submissions. It will include a progression through the various tools and techniques available in Excel, an explanation of best practice in building financial models, and practice in utilizing these skills in increasingly complex and sophisticated financial models, enabling assessment of model integrity, comparison of finan- cial value, and evaluation of financial risks within the wider contractual framework. These skills will equip delegates with the tools to make clear tender price and solution recommendations based on sound fi- nancial knowledge, and manage existing proposals to gain optimum returns.
