The advisory board of standards is primarily made up of volunteer participation from industry leaders and academics who wish to contribute positively to industry and standards development and globally includes professionals of the highest calibre, led by an elected Board of Governors.

Dr. Craig Voortman Dr Craig Voortman currently is an academic with the Department of Transportation and Supply Chain Management at the Faculty of Management at the University of Johannesburg. Craig has served as Co-head of Department and Campus Head. He has overseen the National Diploma, B Tech, M Tech Logistics and Transport qualifications and has specifically managed programmes with approximately 1000 students: 500 purchasing or supply chain students and about 500 transportation students. The programmes have grown considerably since he became Head of Department from just over 300 students to the current enrollment of over 1000 students. The Department is one of the largest academic logistics department in the world and services 4000 students in total with various curricular and extra-curricular programs.
Dr. Michael S. Fletcher
Dr Fletcher was born in New Zealand and has an extensive educational background with specialisation in the fields of educational management, human resources management and logistics. In addition he is a specialist in "working with China" given his more than 15 years experience of working and living in China and Hong Kong. He has developed specialist programs for companies wishing to set up or trade with China and has authored a book entitled "How to Avoid Being Burnt by the Dragon". He is the Chairman of Cornell Continuing Education, a Hong Kong based training and development institute. He is the vice chairman of Education and Training for the South China Institute of Supply Chain Management. He has a continuing involvement with a number of education bodies including: Griffith University, Australian Institute of Export, Griffith University and Swinburne University.
